Brenna's first day!

We have a new friend, baby Brenna! Mason and Bryell were so excited to introduce the babies to each other, and I think the babies were happy to see each other :)

Pumpkin Seed Pumpkins

Today we made pumpkin pictures with pumpkin seeds. It was fun to glue the seeds on the pumpkins, but as Gus discovered, it was also lots of fun to eat the pumkin seeds!

Bry contemplating design options...

Yummy!

Peg Boards and Bubber

We have so much fun with peg boards!

We can build really tall towers...

And make really tall fingers!

So silly!

We also played with Bubber. It is a type of dough that crumbles apart, and then melts back together in your hands.

Bryell made a baby and Lambie...

Mason made a roar (dinosaur) and a castle!

Stay Warm!

We all woke up to snow this morning! We spent a lot of time watching the snow out the window and talking about everything it was landing on. We were really surprised when we went to look out the back windows...there were probably 100 birds in the yard! Last week, we had spent a few days playing with birdseed in the sensory table. On the last day, it was dumped out and transferred to all the various toys in the yard, and the ground all around. The birds were pretty excited to see this!

I couldn't get any good pictures of the sheer magnitude of birds in the yard without them flying off, but I got a couple of the boys watching them. It was really neat to see that many birds at once!

We went to the grocery store this morning to choose some pumpkins to use for next week's activities. When we came back to the house, we played in the snow until our little hands were too cold! The best solution to this problem was a movie, popcorn, and hot chocolate!

Our interest in the movie lasted as long as the popcorn did, but by that point we were warmed up and ready to play!

Foam Dough

Today we played with foam dough! It was fun to feel the new texture and we liked how light it was. It also made some funny sounds when it was pulled apart!

Mason liked playing with the whole thing of dough at once...

Gus enjoyed separating the individual foam balls from one another...

Gus wanted lots of balls to toss and roll...

Mason wanted one giant one...

We played differently, but we both had fun!
